Once ARK: Survival Ascended servers are orderable:
- Select Map - Choose your starting map
- Configure - Set server name, password, and player limit
- Launch - Server starts after initial download (~30GB)
- Join - Connect via Steam server browser

Why is ARK:SA only available on Gold tier?
ARK: Survival Ascended is built on Unreal Engine 5 and requires a minimum of 16GB RAM for stable operation. Our Gold tier provides the necessary resources (8 CPU cores, 16GB RAM, 50GB storage) for a smooth experience.
How do I install mods?
Add CurseForge mod IDs to your server settings. Mods are automatically downloaded and installed on the next server restart.
Can I transfer my ARK: Survival Evolved saves?
No, ARK:SA uses a different save format and is a separate game. Saves from ARK: Survival Evolved are not compatible.
How long does the first startup take?
The first startup downloads approximately 30GB of server files via SteamCMD. This can take 10-20 minutes depending on network speed. Subsequent startups are much faster.
How do I use admin commands?
- Set an Admin Password in your server settings
- In-game, press Tab to open console
- Type
enablecheats YourAdminPassword - Use commands like
fly,ghost,giveitem, etc.
Can I cluster multiple maps?
Server clustering requires multiple server instances. Contact support for multi-server setups.
