FAQ​

How do I join my server?​

In DayZ:

  1. Launch the game
  2. Click "Play"
  3. Click "Community" tab
  4. Search for your server name
  5. Click "Join"

If using mods, subscribe via Steam Workshop first.

Can I use custom maps?​

Yes! Popular custom maps:

What's the difference between Chernarus and Livonia?​

Chernarus (free):

Livonia (DLC required):

  • Paid DLC map
  • 163 km² European woodland
  • Denser forests, fewer cities
  • Autumn/winter atmosphere

How do I set up traders?​

Use mods like Trader or DayZ Expansion:

  1. Install trader mod
  2. Configure trader locations
  3. Set item prices
  4. Define safezones
  5. Restart the server

Players can buy/sell items at designated NPC traders.

Can I wipe player data without wiping the server?​

Yes, selective wipes:

  • Character Wipe - Reset player inventories
  • Base Wipe - Remove all player structures
  • Economy Wipe - Reset loot spawns
  • Vehicle Wipe - Reset all vehicles

Configure wipes via server dashboard.

Why are zombies not spawning?​

Common causes:

  • Player limit reached - Too many infected spawned
  • Loot preventing spawns - Infected spawn with loot
  • events.xml misconfigured - Check infected spawn settings
  • Server performance - Reduce infected count
  • Mod conflicts - Disable conflicting mods

Adjust events.xml to increase infected spawns.

How do I enable base raiding?​

Configure raid mechanics:

  1. Set Fence Damage to enabled
  2. Define Raid Hours (e.g., weekends only)
  3. Configure Lockpicking or use explosives
  4. Enable Base Destruction

What are the best settings for PvE?​

For cooperative PvE gameplay:

How do I become admin?​

  1. Get your Steam64 ID
