The Facility​

You're a scientist trapped in a secret underground research facility after a catastrophic event. Explore labs, offices, and restricted areas to find resources and uncover the truth.

Crafting​

Scavenge lab equipment, office supplies, and industrial materials to craft:

  • Weapons - From improvised clubs to energy weapons
  • Tools - Flashlights, key cards, and scanners
  • Defenses - Barricades, turrets, and traps
  • Shelter - Build safe rooms within the facility

Anomalies​

The facility is infested with anomalous creatures and environmental hazards:

  • Mutated experiments
  • Energy anomalies
  • Environmental hazards
  • Boss encounters in deep levels

Backups​

  • Auto-Save - Regular interval saves
  • Daily Backups - Full world backup at 2 AM UTC
  • Download Saves - Export via SFTP

Why is the player limit only 6?​

Abiotic Factor is designed as an intimate co-op experience. The 6-player cap is a game design choice — the difficulty, puzzles, and story are balanced for small groups.

Can I play solo?​

Yes! The server runs 24/7, and you can play solo. Friends can join anytime using the server address and password.

Is there a story?​

Yes, the facility has an overarching mystery to uncover. As you explore deeper levels, you'll find clues about what happened and why you're trapped.

What tier should I choose?​

For most groups, Bronze is sufficient — Abiotic Factor is optimized for small groups and doesn't require massive resources. Choose Silver or Gold for faster loading and smoother performance.
