How do I join my server?
In Core Keeper:
- Launch the game
- Click "Join Game"
- Click "Internet" tab
- Enter your server IP and port (27015)
- Enter password if set
- Click "Join"
Can I use my existing world?
Yes! Upload your save:
- Find your save in
%userprofile%\AppData\LocalLow\Pugstorm\Core Keeper\Steam\<steamid>\worlds - Copy the world file (.world)
- Upload via server dashboard
- Restart the server
What's the best server plan?
Recommendations by group size:
- Bronze: 2-4 players, early game
- Silver: 4-8 players, mid game
- Gold: 8-16+ players, late game mega bases
Larger worlds with extensive bases need more RAM.
How do I set a world seed?
- Go to server settings
- Set "World Seed" to a number (or 0 for random)
- Create new world
- Share seed with friends for identical worlds
Seeds control:
- Biome placement
- Boss locations
- Resource distribution
- Cave layouts
Can I enable PvP?
Yes! Configure PvP settings:
- Enable PvP in server config
- Set friendly fire on/off
- Configure death penalties
- Restart the server
Note: Core Keeper is designed for co-op, so PvP is experimental.
How do I add mods?
Core Keeper mod support is community-driven:
- Install BepInEx on server
- Download mod files
- Upload to
BepInEx/pluginsfolder - Restart the server
- Players install same mods locally

Why can't I find my server?
Common issues:
- Wrong region filter - Check region settings
- Password protected - Server won't show in public list
- Firewall blocking - Check port forwarding (27015)
- Version mismatch - Update server or client
- Max players reached - Increase limit
Try connecting by IP directly instead of browser.
How do I reset the world?
To start fresh:
- Go to server dashboard
- Click "World Management"
- Click "Create New World"
- Set new world seed (optional)
- Restart the server
Warning: This deletes all progress!
What happens during seasons?
Seasons affect gameplay:
- Spring: Normal gameplay, planting season
- Summer: Faster crop growth, heat
- Autumn: Harvest season, preparing for winter
- Winter: Slower growth, cold mechanics
Seasons change automatically or can be locked.
How do I run a dedicated build server?
For creative building:
- Set difficulty to "Peaceful" (no enemies)
- Give admin powers to trusted builders
- Increase inventory size multiplier
- Enable unlimited resources (via mods)
- Focus on base construction
