Quick Start​

  1. Create Account - Sign up at reactor-servers.com
  2. Choose Plan - Select based on player count
  3. Select Map - Choose your starting map
  4. Configure Rates - Set XP, taming, gathering rates
  5. Launch - Server starts in 5-10 minutes

Clustering​

Run multiple ARK servers and allow transfers:

  1. Create multiple ARK servers
  2. Enable clustering in settings
  3. Set the same cluster ID on all servers
  4. Players can transfer items, dinos, and characters

Perfect for:

  • Story progression across maps
  • PvP + PvE servers
  • Different difficulty tiers

Backups​

Critical for preserving tribes and dinos:

  • Auto-Save - Every 15 minutes
  • Daily Backups - Full backup at 2 AM UTC
  • Download Saves - Export tribe data
  • Restore Backups - Revert to any backup
  • 14-Day Retention - Two weeks of backups

FAQ​

How do I connect to my server?​

In ARK:

  1. Open the game
  2. Click "Join ARK"
  3. Click the "Favorites" tab
  4. Click "Add Server"
  5. Enter your server IP and port
  6. Click "Add to Favorites"
  7. Select your server and click "Join"

Can I transfer my single-player tribe?​

Yes, but it requires manual file transfer:

  1. Export your single-player save
  2. Upload to server via dashboard
  3. Convert using ARK tools (ASM or ASMT)
  4. Restart the server

What maps are available?​

All official ARK maps:

  • Free: The Island, The Center, Ragnarok, Valguero, Crystal Isles, Lost Island, Fjordur
  • DLC: Scorched Earth, Aberration, Extinction, Genesis Part 1 & 2

DLC maps require the DLC to join, but are free to host.

How do I set custom rates?​

In server settings, adjust:

  • Harvest Amount - Resources per gather (1-10x)
  • Taming Speed - How fast dinos tame (1-50x)
  • XP Multiplier - Player XP gain (1-100x)
  • Mating Interval - Breeding cooldown (0.01-1x)
  • Egg Hatch Speed - Incubation time (1-100x)
  • Baby Mature Speed - How fast babies grow (1-100x)

Save and restart the server to apply changes.

Why is my server slow?​

Common causes:

  • Too many structures - Reduce building complexity
  • High player count - Upgrade to larger plan
  • Too many mods - Disable unused mods
  • Wild dino cap - Use DestroyWildDinos command
  • Insufficient RAM - Upgrade server plan

Can I run custom events?​

Yes! Use admin commands:

  • cheat settimeofday 12:00:00 - Set time
  • cheat summon <dino> - Spawn creatures
  • cheat giveitem <item> <qty> - Spawn items
  • cheat destroywilddinos - Clear all wild dinos
  • cheat setplayerpos 0 0 0 - Teleport players
